Commercial Renovations
Description
The original bungalow was compact, outdated, and in need of renewal. With the addition of a substantial first-floor extension, the property’s size was effectively doubled, resulting in a complete transformation. The home also benefited from a comprehensive ground floor renovation and the installation of an attractive new hardwood deck, enhancing both its aesthetic appeal and liveability.
Chris, Adam, and the team at Warvena delivered an amazing first floor extension for us. They were always available to answer questions, gave regular updates against progress and explained things clearly throughout. Their team and subcontractors were well briefed, so they knew exactly what to do and when, and all materials were on site when they needed to be. When the inevitable problems came up, they were quick to provide practical solutions to ensure the project was delivered on schedule. We worked with Warvena to make savings in some areas so we could invest in others, this meant that we stuck to our original budget with no overspend. Any changes to the budget were clearly communicated and explained so we could make informed decisions. All aspects of the build were completed to a very high standard, the final finish is exceptional, we love our new house! Very happy to recommend Warvena for all building work.

Creating Space
Adding the 1st floor extension transformed the existing bungalow, into a lovely family home, with vaulted ceilings throughout and Velux’s natural light bellowed through the property, highlighting the lovely finishes
Creating Warmth
The addition of solar panels significantly improved the home’s energy efficiency, reducing utility bills and promoting sustainable living. Strategically positioned to maximize sunlight exposure, the panels provide renewable energy that supports the household’s electrical needs year-round. Complementing this, the installation of a log burner—designed not only for heating but also doubling as a functional oven—brought both charm and practicality to the living space. The warmth and ambiance of the log burner created a cozy, inviting atmosphere, truly turning the house into a comfortable and self-sufficient home.
